Papivo Terms of Service

1. The service

Papivo scans documents to PDF, recognises text on the device and provides local PDF tools. An optional Smart AI feature sends selected document text for processing when you consent to it.

2. Free use and the daily allowance

Scanning, page editing, PDF and JPEG creation, on-device OCR, the library, search, opening, renaming, deleting, sharing and exporting are free to use.

The first 5 completed documents or 50 completed pages per local calendar day are available without watching an ad; reaching either limit activates the daily allowance screen. One completed optional rewarded ad adds 5 documents and 50 pages for that local day, and at most 2 rewarded allowances may be earned per local day, for a maximum daily allowance of 15 documents and 150 pages.

Failed, cancelled or incomplete scanning attempts do not consume the allowance. Previously saved documents remain available with no daily limit on opening, editing, sharing or exporting.

Rewarded advertising is optional. It is not a purchase, a subscription or a cash-equivalent reward, and earned allowances have no monetary value.

The free Smart AI allowance is 3 successful requests per calendar month. Requests that fail or are released do not consume the allowance. Burst protection allows at most 3 requests per minute and one request at a time.

3. Papivo Pro Lifetime

Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks the advanced local PDF tools: import, merge, split, compression, batch operations, annotations, signature, watermark, password protection, unlocked copies and advanced folder organisation.

Pro Lifetime bypasses the daily document and page advertising limits. It does not increase the Smart AI allowance. Lifetime never means unlimited AI.

4. Smart AI Plus

Smart AI Plus is an auto-renewing subscription with a monthly or annual base plan. While it is active it includes the Pro local tools and an allowance of 100 successful Smart AI requests per billing month, with a maximum of 20 per day, plus the same 3-per-minute and one-at-a-time protections.

There is no auto-renewing free trial: the free allowance is the trial.

5. Prices, renewal and cancellation

All prices are set and shown by Google Play in your Play country and currency. Papivo displays only the price Google Play reports and never applies its own discount.

A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period Google Play has verified. Refunds and cancellations are handled by Google Play under its own terms.

6. Verification, restore and revocation

Access is granted only after Papivo's server verifies the purchase with Google. Restoring purchases re-verifies them and binds them to the identity in use on the device.

If Google reports a refund, chargeback or revocation, the corresponding entitlement is removed.

When an entitlement ends, only the paid tools lock again. Your documents and previously produced files are never removed, hidden or encrypted by Papivo as a result.

7. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the documents you scan, import and share, and for having the right to process them. Do not use Papivo for unlawful content.

Do not attempt to bypass entitlement checks or the Smart AI limits.

8. Availability and liability

Papivo is provided as is. Smart AI depends on a third-party provider and may be unavailable, and AI output can be wrong — check anything important yourself.

To the extent permitted by law, Papivo's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
